Limoux, here we come!
Friday will soon be here and we head to Limoux France for two weeks of painting. I am looking forward to painting "en plein air" with Margaret Roseman. In the next couple of weeks, check back to see photos and updates from Le Monastere. The weather looks warm and sunny. It will be a wonderful change from the cool wet spring we are having in Aurora. Now I am hoping that my luggage will arrive safe and sound. The clothes aren't important, but my art supplies are!

Haliburton School of the Arts
Yeah! It is that time of year to start thinking about art in the summertime. When regular classes end, and there seems to be nowhere to learn....think of a working holiday in Haliburton. It is the best deal ever. For under $300.00, you can spend the week improving your painting skills and techniques. There is an amazing selection of artists with whom you can work. I will be teaching there for two weeks. The first week is July 25 - 29th. That is a watercolour florals course. The first week in August is Watercolour Basics. I'll tell you more about these courses later. If you have any questions, you can post a reply to this blog. You can register online now, which is a great time saver. Check out all of the courses and get your spot early. www.haliburtonschoolofthearts.ca

Upcoming Art Exhibits
Art is happening in Aurora! My friend, Linda Welch and I are exhibiting our work in the Skylight Gallery in the Aurora Town Hall for most of March. Linda is a very talented photographer and has travelled the world taking exciting and powerful photos. Lately, I've been working on a series of florals, with a close up focus.
Please join us for the Artist's Reception on March 24th.
